Polyaluminium Chloride - PAC Liquid 1750 In Ireland
PAC Liquid 1750 in Ireland is our most concentrated liquid PAC grade, featuring 17.50% Alumina. This premium polymer is designed for Ireland’s heavy industrial sectors that demand maximum efficiency with lower storage volumes. By utilizing PAC 1750, Ireland-based facilities can reduce logistics costs while achieving exceptional water clarity in their recycling circuits.
Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) 17.5% is a highly concentrated, high-purity inorganic polymer coagulant primarily used in water treatment and industrial effluent processes. The product contains 17.5% aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃) by weight and offers superior coagulation efficiency compared to conventional coagulants like alum (aluminium sulfate) or ferric chloride. The high alumina content in this grade makes it particularly effective for demanding water clarification and sludge reduction processes, even under low-temperature and high-turbidity conditions.
Advantages of PAC Liquid in Ireland:
1. Higher coagulation efficiency and lower required dosage
2. Effective across wide pH range (4.0–9.0)
3. Less sludge generation, reducing disposal cost
4. Faster floc formation and settling
5. Reduced chemical and alkali demand
6. Enhanced clarity of treated water
Applications of PAC Liquid in Ireland:
1. Potable Water Treatment: Coagulation of suspended matter and colloids, Removal of
turbidity and pathogens, Excellent performance in both surface and groundwater
2. Wastewater Treatment: Industrial effluent treatment (textile, tannery, chemical,
food processing), Municipal sewage clarification, Oil-water separation and sludge
dewatering
3. Process Water Treatment: Pulp and paper mill circulation water, Cooling tower and
boiler feed water pre-treatment
4. Specialty Applications: Mining and mineral processing clarification, Cosmetic and
pharmaceutical-grade process water (subject to purity standards), Pre-treatment in
RO plants to reduce fouling
